What's a Kifaroo?
It means rhino in Swahili. Originally the company was to be called Mufasa.com but Mufasa.com is owned by Disney. To keep with the African theme I stumbled upon the word kifaru, which morphed into kifaroo. I'd like to use the tag line "enjoy the hunt" but I don't want to advocate poaching rhinos. So, I think I'll stick to "where the cars come to you." That sounds easier than hunting anyway.
The Founders
Joe Fuhrman, Founder - Imaginative and eternally optimistic, Joe is a driving force for Kifaroo. He loves interacting with clients and inventing solutions for their complex problems. When he's not crunching numbers for Kifaroo you can find Joe rocking the casa with his Les Paul guitar or playing duck-duck goose with his wife and son.
Andy Overby, Founder - Andy is bold and adventurous with a knack for making a buck. You might be wondering what a charmer like Andy Overby likes to do in his spare time. Well, he collects rare guitars and has recently picked up kite boarding. When he's not perusing the classifieds for guitars or tearing up the lakes on his kite board you can spot him at the park with his dog Legend.
Andy Fuhrman, Founder - A human calculator Andy can perform complex math equations in his head while cooking dinner and checking the NASCAR standings. Always practical, Andy keeps Kifaroo grounded and buyer-focused. His expertise in the automotive industry comes from years of reading nothing but Car and Driver and working as a mechanic. You can still find him underneath his car and, if you're lucky, sitting behind a trap set with a pile of broken sticks lying on the floor.
